An 8-year-old boy from Oklahoma knows what the true meaning of Christmas is, and he showed it in a big way this weekend. Chase Branscum of Owasso, Okla., donated his presents to the local Toys for Tots chapter.

Chase decided to forgo the traditional birthday party to instead help other kids through a local Toys for Tots toy drive. He asked attendees to his party to bring presents for donation to Toys for Tots instead of to him. At the end of the day, he was able to donate more than 500 gifts!

His party was held yesterday (Sunday, Dec. 9) at a local church gymnasium. His story was broadcast locally by Fox 23 in Tulsa and several in the community came to support Chase's cause.

A local business owner who owns a laser tag game even brought out his equipment so that attendees could play laser tag for free.

Kudos to Chase and his decision to help less fortunate kids in his community. Merry Christmas, Chase!
