Veterans Day falls on Sunday, November 11 this year. While we should be honoring military and veterans all year round, this is a special day set aside to remember those who have fought for our freedom. What they do is not an easy job, and in reality there is truly know 'thank-you' big enough. But on Veterans Day some businesses offer special discounts and have their own way of saying thank you. To serve one's country is one of the highest of callings. No matter if a service member is in harm's way or not, the decision to step forward and take an oath to protect us is an act of bravery.
