Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers have just announced the dates for their 2013 summer tour, and now Petty is discussing some of the group's plans for both those live performances and an upcoming album they plan to release later this year.
In what seemed like stars were aligning in Amsterdam over the weekend, mega rock stars Eddie Vedder and Tom Petty were on stage together to perform two of the latter’s songs. Watch fan footage of the Pearl Jam leader join Petty and his Heartbreakers on ‘The Waiting’ and ‘American Girl’ below.
While in the midst of their summer European tour, Pearl Jam crossed paths with classic rockers Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers in Amsterdam on Sunday (June 24). Vocalist Eddie Vedder stepped onstage during Petty’s show at the Heineken Music Hall, lending his pipes to the band on ‘The Waiting’ and ‘American Girl’ — check out the video below.
