It's time to move out of 2006 and onto 2007 with the biggest rock hits of the year. We will start with Seether and Foo Fighters in the new edition of the Cage Match.
Seether holds on to the first single category cage match so far this week. So I say lets put a huge #1 hit and first single from Pearl Jam in and see how they fair.
Def Leppard held the title at the end of the 1980s weeks in the Cage Match. But for the next two weeks we will now get into bands' first hits. Seether will be in the cage today with Theory of a Deadman with their first charting hits battling it out.
In the ever-changing world of the music industry, it’s a rarity for bands to reach a decade with the same representation, but Seether are still going strong with Wind-Up Records after hitting the 10-year mark. To help celebrate the occasion, Seether were surprised backstage by President/CEO Ed Vetri and their manager Jack Rovner with plaques that marked the accomplishments the band have reached over the past decade.
Seether‘s first-ever Rise Above Fest is just a few weeks away and the band could use your help. The group is looking for a few enterprising fans to shoot a promo spot talking about teen suicide prevention.
For a lot of bands, the sooner they can record new music and get it out to the public, the better it is, and sometimes having a hit record can stand in the way of those plans. For Seether, however, the group is relishing their current success and don’t want to shortchange the 2011 album ‘Holding Onto Strings Better Left to Fray’ in any way.

After a series of comical photos were posted to Seether‘s Facebook page, the band shared a couple of really unusual images (above) where frontman Shaun Morgan had swapped faces with ex-girlfriend and Evanescence singer Amy Lee.
