We recently reported that Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy Hale took the stage with Slipknot’s Corey Taylor to perform AC/DC’s ‘You Shook Me All Night Long.’ The songstress was at it again this past weekend as she shared the stage with Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators on Saturday, June 10, at the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam.
Stop us if you’ve heard this one before, but Guns N’ Roses turned up late for a show again. This time it was the crowd in Manchester, England, that sat around waiting for the show to start. However, rather than being unruly, a good portion of the crowd just left instead.
As he makes the rounds promoting his new album ‘Apocalyptic Love,’ Slash can’t avoid countless questions about Guns N’ Roses and his relationship (or lack thereof) with Axl Rose. Slash was interviewed on Piers Morgan’s CNN show last night (May 23) and he had some interesting things to say about his former band mate.

We knew that when Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong introduced Guns N’ Roses at their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction last April, the crowd booed at the mention of Axl Rose. We didn’t know that Armstrong almost filled in for Rose during a retrofitted GNR set that night.
Now that the drama of the Guns N’ Roses Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction is behind him, Slash reflected on the turmoil and publicity leading up to the induction, and the ceremony itself.
Axl Rose has apparently posted a new letter to fans thanking them for their support in the wake of his decision not to attend Guns N’ Roses induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this past Saturday (April 14). The letter, posted earlier today (April 17) on the singer’s official Twitter page, seems to mix sarcasm with genuine feelings of gratitude.
Even though Axl Rose refused to take part in Guns N’ Roses‘ induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Green Day showed up to induct the band anyway, offering a speech that was part punk rock and part sappy tribute.
With this year’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction day now upon us, we’ve heard from quite a few of the past and present Guns N’ Roses members including Axl Rose, Slash, Duff McKagan, Steven Adler and Izzy Stradlin on why they will or will not be in attendance. Now, former GN’R drummer Matt Sorum is weighing in with what he thinks could have helped sway Rose and Stradlin to attend the festivities.
