Tom Morello to be Featured on New Bruce Springsteen Album

Tom Morello is going to be featured on the Boss' upcoming new album, Wrecking Ball, which is due out on March 6. Bruce's longtime manager, Jon Landau, told Rolling Stone that the new album “was an experimental effort with a new producer ... Bruce and Ron used a wide variety of players to create something that both rocks and is very fresh."

Bruce Springsteen Surprises Bostonians by Busking in Park [VIDEO]

A busker playing guitar for spare change in Boston’s Public Gardens got a quite a shock when music legend Bruce Springsteen approached him yesterday, and asked if he could borrow his instrument. Bruce then began strumming a tune for the passersby, with a huge grin on his face. Speculation is that Springsteen was in Boston dropping son Evan off at Boston College.

No word on how much The Boss collected in tips.

Clarence Clemons, E Street Band Saxophonist, Dead at 69

Six days after suffering a massive stroke, saxophone legend and longtime E Street Band member Clarence Clemons has died at the age of 69.

Despite initial reports that Clemons was responding well to treatment – and despite a pair of brain surgeries to repair the damage wrought by the stroke – his condition worsened as the week wore on, and he died on Saturday, June 18.

Rolling Stone ‘Best Albums of the 80′s’ [VIDEO]

So Rolling Stone recently polled their readers and asked them what they thought was the best album of the ‘80s. U2’s The Joshua Tree scored the most votes, edging out Guns N’ Roses’ Appetite for Destruction and Michael Jackson’s Thriller.
