Bob Dylan, Alan Jackson, Merle Haggard, Norah Jones, Jack White and Sheryl Crow are just some of the performers who’ve recorded tracks for a new project entitled ‘The Lost Notebooks of Hank Williams.’
All were tasked with fleshing out and setting music to the words Williams wrote in old notebooks he carried with him — notebooks that sat in a vault for decades after the country legend’s death in 1953.
If you remember when Bob Dylan’s son Jakob started the Wallflowers, prepare to feel really old, because Bob’s grandson Pablo has just released his musical debut — and he’s a rapper.
That’s right, world — say hello to 15-year-old Pablo Dylan, who lists Eminem as a major influence and calls his famous grandfather “the Jay-Z of his time.” Pablo recently released his first mixtape, ’10 Minutes,’ and if it doesn’t exactly sound like anything else in the Dylan family catalog, he expresses nothing but appreciation for its legacy.

Gibson.com has just compiled a list of the best albums of the ‘90s and topping it is none other than Nirvana’s Nevermind. The site’s editors, writers and readers all voted and the 1991 record topped the list, followed by Radiohead’s OK Computer, U2’s Achtung Baby, Definitely Maybe by Oasis and R.E.M.’s Automatic for the People.
