Chili Peppers Write Song For Friend Who Passed Away [VIDEO]

YES -- Red Hot Chili Peppers new album, I'm With You, is due out August 30th! AnthonyKiedis.net is has it out that the band wrote a song about a friend who passed away. More after the jump.

The track is titled “Brendan’s Death Song” and is about writer from Britain Brendan Mullen.  Apparently Mr. Mullen was writing a biography about my favorite "Chili Peppers" just before he died.
