KLTV 7 meteorologist Grant Dade says there is a risk for severe storms in East Texas Wednesday morning as a cold front moves into the area.
A cold front is expected to move through East Texas this afternoon bringing with is a chance for thunderstorms and strong winds.

KLTV 7 Meteorologist Grant Dade says we have a good chance of seeing more of what we did this morning through a good part of the week. This morning (Jan. 14) a mixture of rain, sleet and snow was reported across most of East Texas as a disturbance moved into the area. It contained just enough moisture to squeeze out the light precipitation we saw this morning. Grant says more of the same can be expected though Thursday!
KLTV 7 Meteorologist Grant Dade is reporting on a chance for severe weather in East Texas tonight and tomorrow (Jan. 8-9). The threats include heavy rain, gusty winds and even the chance for an isolated tornado.
KLTV 7 meteorologist Grant Dade is reporting an upper-air disturbance moving toward East Texas from the west. The system will cause sleet and snow in West Texas during the day today (Jan. 3) and will move closer to us by tonight.
A low pressure system is racing towards East Texas from the Panhandle bringing with it the chance for severe thunderstorms and snow for parts of East Texas on Christmas day!
