Bird-Flavored Ice Cream Is, In Fact, Real

Re-read that phrase, "bird flavored ice cream," as much as you want, it will still be true no matter how much you can't believe it. I know, I know it is one of the most gross ideas in the world. But, it is still happening. 

Instead of picking between the old favorites; chocolate, vanilla, swirl, and all the other normal flavors, now you can pick between pet bird flavors. Those include: Java Sparrow, Parakeet, and Cockatiel. 

WHAT?!

Yup. A cafe in Japan that is known for serving tea and home-made ice cream decided to take it to the next level. The Torimi Cafe allows customers to eat their sweet treats amongst birds, creating a unique and cute atmosphere. Then, they went too far with this gimmick.

These imitations, not real bird flavoring, were recently debuted. What are the Torimi costumers in for?

Well, each bird will have its own distinct taste.

The Parakeet flavor is said to be like, "it’s like eating some vanilla ice cream in one hand and then taking a whiff of a parakeet in your other hand." GROSS.

What about the Cockatiel ice cream? It has been said to taste like, “when you’re sleeping with your mouth open and your cockatiel runs over your face and gets its leg in your mouth.” DISGUSTING.

Finally, the Java Sparrow flavor is described as, “it’s the feeling of pressing the breast of a java sparrow into your mouth.”

These are all straight from the staff of Torimi Cafe's mouth. That is right, these were the descriptions they chose to try and entice costumers to try these wacky ice creams. CRAZY.

Sure, a small part of me wants to try these flavors. If they will really taste like having a bird's leg in my mouth, I will pass.
